Like us, I’m sure you’re keeping tabs on all the latest government advice surrounding COVID-19, which thankfully at time of writing still allows us to use our bikes for exercise. We certainly hope this remains the case as long as everyone continues to observe social distancing protocols set out by the government, benefitting not just our physical wellbeing but our mental welfare too.
As with most businesses whether they be large or small, we are currently in a state of pause. However, we are in constant dialogue with our planned event hubs and partners. Naturally we eagerly await the current situation to improve and event hosting restrictions being lifted. We will continue to keep you updated with our rescheduled event dates as soon as it is possible and safe to do so.
We are a young company and have invested a large amount of time and money into building our business and fully intend to fulfil the events we have planned and you have paid to enter, including the Capital Park Velo in Cambridge. Once again, as soon as we’re able to announce replacement dates we will share this information with you.
As with most sporting event companies, we do not generally offer refunds preferring to add riders to replacement dates or future rides. However, due to the limbo we all find ourselves in we feel that under the circumstances it is only fair that we offer refunds to riders that do not wish to wait for replacement dates to be announced.
If you would like to be refunded, please email firstname.lastname@example.org using the same email address used to sign up for the original ride, once verified, a refund will be issued.
Please note that as we use British Cycling’s entry system we are unable to return the original £1 admin charges added to rider fee’s when signing up to our event(s). There is a further £1 admin charge which will be deducted for all refunds. These fees are collected and retained by British Cycling, not Izura Events.
Note: You do not need to do anything if you’re happy to wait for the new dates to be announced.
We would like to wish you, your families and friends good health and hope we can all continue to keep our minds and bodies active by enjoying regular cycle rides.
